Chipotle isn't just a place to eat. It's an experience. When you enter the restaurant, you step into a magical land of wood, metal, exposed ductwork, and unicorns. A cool mix of chill music plays in the background. You might hear David Bowie, Johnny Cash, Moby, Talking Heads, or The Smiths. When it's time to order, your food is made right in front of you. A friendly employee customizes your tacos, salad, burrito bowl, or burrito just the way you want it. If you stick around long enough, you'll even leave smelling of Chipotle. (Side note: I find there is a very fine line between the aroma of Chipotle and that of body odor.) Maybe I'm exaggerating a bit (e.g., unicorns), but that is the typical Chipotle experience for me. However, this Chipotle is different. It's in a food court. Take away the ambience and unicorns, and you're left with food and customer service. Back to basics. I've only been here twice. My first visit was right after they opened in 2013, and my second was just yesterday. The first visit was great. The employees were super friendly. Making small talk, I told the cashier that I love the Diet Coke at Chipotle. She shared this with the employees on the food line, and they all did this enthusiastic cheer along the lines of "Woohoo! We have good Diet Coke!" Yesterday, the employees weren't quite as friendly. I honestly don't expect someone to tap dance and break out into song while he/she is making my burrito, but based on my many, many visits at other locations in the area, I'm accustomed to having my food made by outgoing people. That just wasn't the case yesterday. Oh, well. I'm not exactly chipper either. :) The food has been fine, though. It's nice to have Chipotle as an option at West County Center. However, I've taken my food to go because I don't really care for eating in the food court. I don't know about the rest of you, but I wish Chipotle had nachos. And queso. And free guacamole. And a rewards program. But back to those nachos. I sometimes take a burrito bowl to go, and I make my own nachos at home. I order a bowl made with nacho toppings: beans, chicken, corn salsa, pico de gallo, and cheese. I put all of that goodness on a plate of chips, and I stick it in the oven to get nice and toasty. It works. I've never had the chips at Chipotle, but I suppose you could sort of have "nachos" at the restaurant. Order a burrito bowl with a side of chips, and get to scoopin'. I give this Chipotle 3 A-OK stars. It's not my favorite location, but it'll do. Bonus: Thanks to the open environment in the food court, I don't leave redolent of any kind of body odor (apart from my own). :p

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque.
